Creative Kids Saturday with Betsy Fleischer

Time for our first Creative Kids Art Class of 2018! Since there is a "Dragon Day" in January, Betsy will be teaching the kids how to make dragons out of various assembled craft materials and paint. It's also "National Book Month" so the kids will also make a tiny book. Sounds fun, right? Support your local arts council and attend!
Class begins at 10am and runs until noon. $10 per child. All material provided. Please let us know if your child is planning to attend so we can prepare accordingly.
Looking forward to seeing what amazing creations they come up with!

Paint Bar Class in the Style of Monet

Get your art vibes flowing. This month's featured artist is Claude Monet.

This series of classes is based on the many recognizable painting styles of famous artists. You'll learn a little history about each artist as ACMC President Gemma Ziegler guides you through a fun and easy step-by-step process to creating a painting in an artist's particular style.

January 18th's class will focus on Monet's beautiful impressionist style. You can choose your favorite Monet painting to recreate or follow Gemma's lead with her favorite. Either way, we hope to see you. It's all about having fun, learning, being creative.

The Paint Bar Class begins at 6 and runs approximately 2.5 hours. You will leave with a completed acrylic painting. (if it's not dry you are welcome to leave it here overnight.) $28.00 per person all materials provided. To register, message us here, call or stop by the arts council in person.

We must have a minimum of 5 students to hold class.

Please note: We cannot serve wine but you are welcome to bring your own.
Cheers!
