Want to learn how to paint with oils? Well, look no further becasue we have the class for you!
Robert Childers is a Local Painter who feels that everyone should learn how to paint, and that painting beutiful pictures with oils is not hard to do once you understand how they work!
In this class you will learn how to use, mix, create colors, which brushes work best and how to work with oil paints over all as an everyday medium for painting!
Cost is only $50.00 per person, and all supplies are provided!

Interested in learning how to make cool and crafty jewelry with paper beads?
Then come to our new "Paper Beading 101" class on April 28th!
Local artist Alysin Montgomery will be teaching the basics, on how to make paper beads, and turn them into a neat new pastime and hobby!
Class starts at 1pm, and the cost is $40 dollars. You are more than welcome to bring your own paper that you would like to use, or feel free to grab some from our supply!

The ACMC is happy to welcome Elsa Wachter, who will be teaching an intensive and exciting class, "Introduction to Basket Weaving" on April 21st!
She will focus on making a smaller sized "farmer's market" style basket, that way you will have something useful to use throughout the summer season!
The class starts at 10am and will go to 4pm, to give you enough time to finish the basket, and to learn how to do it all yourself with her help!
Cost for the class is $65 dollars, and we will supply you with the supplies needed to make the basket, (as well as some free paint in the gallery if you want to jazz it up a bit).

Kentucky atuthor and veteran, Eric S. Lee, will be reading from his book, Tribute to Valor and Courage, a collection of oral history interviews with at ACMC on December 16th ay 12:30. Please mark your calendar for a moving afternoon of stories told to him first hand from the service men and women that lived them. Good for young adults, history buffs, veterans, those currently enlisted and their families.
